Description
Finally! The dress quickly came together, but I am using a straight stitch only machine, so my only option for buttonholes were to do them by hand. I did dread making them, but in reality they aren’t too bad.
I also visited a sewing supply shop to have the fabric covered buttons made as I don’t have a machine for that.
I love this dress, especially with contrast pieces for the yokes and sleeves.

yeah! perhaps i’ll visit at the end of my contract – i’m so curious to see what africa outside of west africa is like as i am sure it is completely different world.
