Fort Collins, Co...

Denyse Schmidt’s Cog + Wheel quilt, made in lap quilt size for some friends. I hand-quilted every inch and it was CRAZY. More notes and photos on my blog here

Material Notes

quilting cotton scraps from my stash, plus gray and mustard linen for background, backing, and bindings.

Great job with the hand-quilting! Your stitches look really lovely and even, and the post-wash puckering looks fantastic. I can’t wait to be done with my first quilt. Although, I think I’m going to do it by machine. My fingers hurt just looking at the hand-stitches.
