I`ve finaly made it. I love how it turned out. Drafted the pattern for the sleeves, colllar and the front part by myself. I was inspired by vintage dresses.

I love this pattern ! it’s been on my list since it first came out! I have yet to find the right fabric for it. I’m thinking a cotton chiffon with a print (white for winter is a bit scary). Yours turned out so cute! Very nice work!

I LOVE this dress! So beautiful! Did you happen to use this pattern’s yardage? I want to make this pattern, and of course, have a perfect material less than 4 yards.

Thanks! I was having the same problem with the fabric , I think I had less then 2 meters of it. Dress from Burda`s magazine is cut from two layers of fabric and because of it you need 4 meters. I think I used about 170 cm for this one.

this looks great. I am thinking about a dress with stripes, too, and what I most like about this one: the name ;) I love Tim Burton and with this dress and shoes you would fit so well into Alice’s wonderland…

Like the design and how the dress looks. What I liked the most is the finished edges on the front ruffles. The raw edge ruffles currently in fashion bother me. There are many ways one could make changes to this dress and have something truely unique for themselves. However I’d have done the hem by hand so that the stitching doesn’t show.
