Description
Another version of the popular pattern by elainemay. I had to take in the side seams a bit and took away some of the flare. I may have shortened it a little too much, and that’s where the cocktail part comes in (also because I got a little carried away with the props- heehee).
This is a part of my summer vacation “learn how to be a better sewer” series.

I love your two-fer design! What kind of yardage did you use for the top and for the skirt? I’m hoping to do contrasting colors too, but don’t know how much fabric to buy.

this is my favorite rendition of this dress of all the one’s I’ve seen on BurdaStyle – did you do something else to the neckline – one thing I prefer on your version is that it looks lower?
