This is a super simple dress I designed and drafted this weekend. It will be nice for work or a casual coffee date once the weather warms up a bit; until then it’s staying under the long cardigan. I’ve uploaded the (pretty easy!) pattern so you make your own. Right now it’s just in my measurements (size 32 petite) but I plan to make a standard multi-sized version soon. UPDATE: The multisize pattern is now posted and available for download!
I found the crisp beige poplin fabric on clearance for $1.00 a yard. Adding in an 88 cent zipper, the total cost for the materials for this garment ended up being about $2.50 :) Recession fashion at its best!
Light beige stretch poplin (probably mostly polyester with some lycra)
