Burda Style For people who sew
Description
this is my first dress ever. i used the petite coffee date dress pattern. in hindsight i should have used a larger pattern, but i was able to make it work. i quite like the dress and fabric and would love to make another coffee date dress in another color some time.
Material Notes
bodice fabric is 100% cotton in a lavender and purple dots pattern, skirt is made from dark blue stretch linen.

Think this speaks so beautifully that you should be sewing more! I see the Gibson & what a cute sewing machine. I was thinking of gifting my son’s GF with a similar style to begin sewing since she is showing interest. They are both musicians & play Chicago dates. Back to you-this dress was really well done & suits you perfectly!

Thank you so much! My sewing machine is actually a Brother CS-6000. My mom bought it for me about 5 years ago for my birthday. I really like it. It’s really easy to use. :)
