Elainemay’s coffee date dress! Really great pattern, I added 1/2" to width as I’m more a 34, and its a great fit!
I hand tacked the top of the ruffle down because the fabric is too synthetic.
Thanks so much for posting this pattern!
Very strange polyester or nylon, creases will NOT iron out! going to have to try the industrial press at my work to see if I can get it crisp
Elainemay :D

This is gorgeous! I think the wrinkled look is very classy. Gives it a vintage feel (;

I LOVE this dress. I would really for it to be posted in a multisized pattern. I need to do a lot of adjustments I am tall 5"8’ and need a size 14 (US). Your fabric choice is very chic..

Like the rest of the above I love it!, and I agree that the wrinkles in the fabric are a welcome texture and really add to it.

great job! i actually really love the crinkly effect of the fabric— it gives it a very romantic and chic vibe, like an Anthropologie dress :)

Really nice, I love this dress and the material has both a very nice colour and nice lustre to it. Maybe it’s made to be permanently creased…? In that case at least you won’t have to bother ironing it ;-).

Hi Betty_brash, thanks for your lovely comments! I added 1/2" to both sides of pattern, but didn’t touch the neckline. Also made the armholes slightly larger at bottom. probably you would also move the bust darts apart a little as well. Also extended the skirt length, and the bodice by an inch if you’re not petite.

Very luxurious in the gray. Like “the gilded bee” I’ve also loved this pattern from the first time I saw it.

It looks fantastic! I love the colour of the fabric. I have been wanting to make this dress too, but I am also a 34 so wondered how I could make the pattern fit. Did you add 1/2" all over the pattern (as in extending all the pattern lines by the same amount? xx
