I wanted to make a jacket to wear with everything, not too sophisticated.
I used a pattern from Burda Easy Fashion S/S 2009, that has no lining (I hate linings!).
For the colour, I wanted something more grey, or “taupe”, but I couldn’t find what I wanted so I bought that one.. And I’m very happy! It’s a little stiff, perfect for that kind of jacket.
And I found the perfect matching buttons :) I love them!
When I wore it for the first time, I was disappointed, because if I close it it doesn’t look good (Too much difference between my bust and waist sizes : the top of the jacket is too small, and the bottom too big!), and open, I thought: It looks like a little girl who borrowed her dad’s DIY jacket!
But my boyfriend liked it, so I wore it and now I love it! I can wear it with almost everything, which is surprising seeing the colour…
