I used the burda pattern (32 petite coffee date dress) to make a dress for myself. I was really excited about making it, but it turned out to be way too small for me (and i’m really petite). I was surprised that it didn’t fit and sad:(.Although i was disapointed my 10 yr old daughter was STOKED she fits it perfect.I also used buttons in back instead. I’ll try again for me (i love it)!

i think it was fairly easy. i did this a while ago, but I believe i just followed what the pattern said to do. it was a simple basted stitch gather, i little tedious putting it on. just measure well and pin good before sewing permanently.

Lovely color combination. It’s one I’d definitely copy!
