Description
My version of the Coffee Date Dress by the selfish seamstress and my first solo dress. Instead of doing a ruffle I added flowers to the neckline. I used the following instruction for the flowers http://blairpeter.typepad.com/weblog/2006/03/fabric_flowers.html
I also created a belt (mainly because I really liked the pattern of the material and wanted to add more).
Material Notes
I used a light linen cotton blend. It is a lovely colour and weight, but the edges fray very easily so it was a little trying.
