Description
I love the look and functionality of messenger bags, but usually, I don’t have to lug around too many things all the time. I made this mini version using a very sturdy canvas fabric and antique brass hardware. This is the first bag pattern I’ve ever made from scratch. It felt like it took forever trying to get all the measurements right. Overall, I’m happy with the way it turned out. I’m thinking of making it in black. What do you think?

This is so cute. I’m looking for a bag for the new school semester. I want to make something similar to this. A nice medium-size canvas bag.
Do you plan on sharing this pattern? x]

Hi Suribabe!
Thank you so much! I believe the width of my bag is 12 inches. It’s very tiny compared to the usual messenger bag. How sweet of you to make one for your niece. Please share with us when you finish. Have a great day!

Hi Futurette! For this bag, I created a pattern from scratch. It took a few tries and lots and lots of paper, but I managed to pull it off. Thanks for the sweet comment and enjoy the rest of your week!
