I got this coat from my mother. Although she is 20 cm smaller than me she somehow bought it so large that it wouldn’t fit even myself. I had to rip almost all the seams open and i took like 4 cm away on the shoulders and the sides. I made it more fitted at the waist too. Then I bought some black leather and made the applications. I basted some parts by hand which was easier at the end. What is a bit a pity is that at the waist there are too many layers so it is a bit thick. And the pocket are half closed through the leather… I added an additional button at the collar too.

Waw! don’t worry about the extra layers, the top leather is black so it does the the waist line anyway. Looks and fits perfectly on you! That must have been so much work, but worth it!
