Hi, I was so excited about making this coat., but its not great! I think the wool I chose was too light in weight, and maybe the style isn’t for me either. I really enjoyed making this though, I learned how to do blind hemming, and my button holes were perfect. The lining went in without problems, the back vent looks fab. But I don’t like the finished coat. Oh dear, these things happen. Oh and its probably a bit too big.

One persons disaster is another persons success! The coat is not what you ‘intended,’ that is one of the ‘opportunities’ sewing gives us! I hope you enjoy it anyway (different buttons, a scarf :) Best Wishes!
