Riga & Liepaja, ...
First, thank you all for the good comments about the floral skirt and the jacket! So lovely to read!
I wanted a classic knee-lenght coat! In August (I started already think about winter) I Found this wool/cashmere coating fabric! It is classic and so soft and warm! And hard to take a nice photos because it is black! :)
This pattern I chose because it is simple, classic, on a figure but still something interesting.
The lining is 100% silk! I mean I made this coat for more special occasion so I wanted make it special!
I really love this pattern! The seams can really make your body look the best!
And more happy about making this coat I am because a year ago I made a first sewing project – a dress for my girl! I remember all the strugles with this simple a-lane dress! If someone would tell me that after year I will wear my own made coat – come on! But you never know! This past year I have been sewing for every day a tleast 1 hour! A lot of mistakes and doubts about my ability for sewing! But still I wanted it! So I am so glad that I do not need spend so much money abotu my clothes, but still make from the very best fabrics and a perfect fit fot me!
So … I wish anyone who loves sew – happy sewing! It is such a great hobby or even more! :))
