This is a small layette set for a friend in Ireland who just became a grandma. It consist of one bib, two burping pads and one personalized blanket. I used a baby blue flannel with brown teddy bears on it, with white bias tape around the edges of the bib and blanket. The burping pads pattern came from a website for free : http://www.newconceptions.com/free.htm . The bib and blanket pattern was an old Simplicity pattern, also pictured. I am mailing it all today, I hope they like it! Welcome to the world little Jack!

this set turned out really good. i’ve just been using this pattern heaps myself, the bib is so quick to make and i just love making the little bonnet as well, i haven’t tried the blanket yet and thanks for the link to the burb cloth pattern, i think i might have a go at making that. i’m sure your friend will love this cute set.
