Description
I found some stiff, light weight, almost-curtain material at a fabric store a few weeks ago and one night I just started cutting and sewing. A few hours later, these bad boys were on my body and I wore them out to a drag show that week! I love the way the scuba makes the legs pop out and stand open so the see-though fabric can really show off the stripes.
I made the pattern from a pair of pants I already owned that fit me perfectly. I only altered the waistband to be higher on the waist and didn’t add the darts until right before the waistband was attached (I recommend this if you are making a pair of copied pants as all fabrics move and stretch differently). Luckily I made the pattern on paper before cutting anything so I have made a few more pairs with different fabrics to play with textures and prints (those I may post later).
these pants are not for sale but I am happy to accept private messages if you are interested in anything similar as I do make custom clothing
