Description

The second pair of trousers (or pants to you Americans!) I have made… Actually we successful this time :) probably because I didn’t attempt a flier. I’m really proud of myself!

This is a Burda pattern from the website, although the instructions confused me so I cut out the pattern but free-styled the instructions… I don’t think I’ve ever fully followed a pattern, but this time I completely abandoned it ( I’m easily confused!).

Material Notes

Cotton Chambray (Stripy :) !)

hi there ! they look amazing ! I made these a couple a months ago and did not like the way they looked on me. It looked too puffy ans uneven. So I have a question how did you manage to make them look ‘fitted’? thank you.

Thanks!! I’m sorry, but I really don’t know how… I think it helped using the striped fabric, because it forced me to concentrate on how I lined the pieced up together. I also pined the whole pleat down until the very end, so the angle didn’t change between the basting and the stitching in the seam allowance. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
