Description

Actual I’m inspired by embellished sweaters and pullovers, like Tory Burch showed in her latest collection. I thought this would be a nice sewing project, as I’m able to use all my beads and stones that I collected over the years. Today I show you sweater No. 1 that I sewed last weekend, matching my tartan pants in red/black colors. As embellishment I used Swarovski rivoli in Light Siam color, pyramid studs and some gunmetal elements that I kept from 2 old elastic bracelets. I have done the embellishments by hand. Before, I sewed the sweater based on Burda pattern No. 6846. The fabric is a deep black Matelass with a star quilt pattern. Actually I like those fabrics very much, because they keep one very warm (because they are double layered) while being elastic. I have sewed a second sweater, unfortunately my camera failed during the foto shooting, so I’ll show you this one later.

Bye,
Philo
