because I am not 100% happy with my ‘waistcoat a little bit different’ I decided to make another waistcoat that matches better with my ‘historicized pants’. After drawing the pattern I have made a proototype to check the fit. Again a lot of handsewing, the linning, hems and buttonholes.

together with the ’ historicized pants’ it is a perfect outfit. I already cut a matching jacket of the brown/red wool fabric. the only thing I don’t have is the time to make it; but I will :-)

Sehr beeindruckend, was du da für Arbeit hineingesteckt hast, und das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen! Die Knopflöcher sind so schön geworden und das blaue Futter sieht auch super dazu aus!

Leider ist selbst eine Weste ein zeitraubendes Unternehmen. Vor allem das Schnittmuster zu zeichnen dauert so lange, wenn man das nicht regelmaessig macht. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich gluecklich :-)
