I purchased a pair of jeans at the thrift shop to refashion them into a skirt.
The jeans had a lot of stretch so I was able to create a pencil skirt rather than a-line.
I followed the classic process: cut off legs, unstitched crotch, then used a piece of the leg to fill the gap in the front. the gap in the back was small enough that i didn’t have to fill it and left it for walking ease.
