You are totally inspiring me to make some basics! My wardrobe is a bit of a mismatch at the moment, and I think some gorgeous pocket-drindl skirts is just what it needs! x

This is such a cute skirt, and I love the other versions you’ve posted here! I’m working on a self-drafted A-line skirt that I plan to make in a bunch of colors/fabrics. So nice to have a trusty pattern at the ready!

Thank you :) Oh, I agree! Once you’ve drafted a pattern that works for you the hard part is done and skirts can be whipped up in no time.

That is EXACTLY the kind of skirt I need to have in my closet. I still haven’t learned how to sew pockets, though. Hard?

Thank you :) Side seam pockets are very simple, don’t worry about it! Just remember to sew everything right sides together: first the pocket pieces to the skirt panels, and then the panels together. I usually go into auto-pilot when sewing skirts and forget to attach the pockets before I sew the panels together, that’s really the only place you can go wrong.
