This was my first attempt at sewing with jersey fabric, and now I wonder why I waited so long….the material is so generous, I skipped the full bust adjustment, which I usually need to make.
I added interfacing on the left side seam to create some stability for the zipper. I also made the front opening higher than in the pattern, it showed a bit too much cleavage for my taste (although it would be perfect if you like wearing camisoles etc under the dress).
Fine jersey fabric (polyester) purchased at Mitchell’s Fabrics in Winnipeg.
