Yet another pair of shorts !! This time i’ve made a pattern, i hope its okay, it was my first time uploading a pattern. I highly recommend measuring everything before making, and make your alterations before cutting because the pattern is for my size.

Yours came out FAB! I’ve actually JUST printed out and assembled the pattern. There are some minor problems in connecting the 1A’s and 2B’s together but it’s no bigie! ;);) .. they are quiet big and since i’m rather new to this, i was wondering HOW i should alter the pattern? ( i think i’m a size 38) :) many thanks!

Oh I hope you worked the pattern out. Hummmm, normally I would say just cut a bit of the sides of the pattern, but 32 is quite a lot smaller !!!! Err I really don’t know what you should do… I think I remember seeing a tutorial in the learning section for downgrading patterns
Anyway i’m guessing if you take the same shape but basically make everything smaller ( so that the waist ect. are you’re size) it should probably work.
Sorry I can’t help more :(
And by the way, thanks :)

I agree— You could open the pattern on your computer and shrink it a little bit and that way— its the same pattern… only smaller :P

I am so happy to see that you made a pattern!! I can not wait to try making these :)
also— I think I figured out the problem… I think that the front and back pieces are mismarked :P after cutting out the pattern, the top of the back matches up with the front panels
