Harley Quinn body suit for a Heros/Villans party. I wanted something that showed my cleavage with a heart shaped neckline but had the feel of classic Harley. Opted for gloves and a shrug instead of sleeves. The pattern is very loosely based off of Simplicity patter 2067.
The hardest part was splitting the pattern in half and getting the pieces to line up. The next hardest part was adding the contrasting diamonds in the appropriate places, particularly because I was trying to stay true to comic book Harley and there are so many different drawings of her on the internet that it was hard to know where to put them. To stitch them on I had to hand sew them on while wearing the body suit so that they wouldn’t ripple when stretched.
Corset pictured is not my design or work. Credit for that goes to Damsel in this Dress. I wasn’t feeling daring enough to wear a spandex bodysuit without it.
