Burda Style For people who sew
Description
The coffee date dress, done in a fine houndstooth cotton/polyester blend. I shortened the skirt slightly, but otherwise no modifications. It’s my first go at making a dress, but I’m pretty happy with the result. Love the ruffle… I might make this in a summery fabric next!

I love the fabric you chose—you can wear it right through the winter! I so need to get my butt in gear and make this dress—i love all the versions of it. Wonderful job—looks great on—especially awesome since its your first dress—way to go!
