This dress was made via a Sewalong on my blog. We used Simplicity’s 1880 and made either a faux wrap or shirt dress. This is my wrap dress version made in a 3 ply silk crepe that I purchased from Gorgeous Fabrics. I love this dress so much! It’s incredibly comfortable and very chic. I applied bias binding to the neckline instead of doing facings as the pattern would have you do, and opted to do a waistline stay as the skirt is too heavy for the bodice of this dress.
