I read somewhere on Burda Style that these were a quick evenings fix for anyone with a sewing obsession ;) …..
……So off I trotted to the discount fabric stores discount section (that’s like double discount!) for some jersey and trimming.
After a longish evening here is the result…this is my first project in jersey (or anything with stretch for that matter) been avoiding it all this time….. but with EmilyKate’s fabulous pattern and how to instruction (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/cheeky-panties)I was able to produce a great result first time – Thanks EmilyKate!
oh I altered the pattern slightly I liked Emily Kate’s waistband method so much I used it for the leg holes too.
No fabric labels in the discount store but I think a very fine cotton jersey with lots of stretch, and some pink stretch mesh with absolutely no bolt appeal but worked as a nice contrast the the jersey.

these are the best looking cheeky panties I’ve seen so far!! I love how you did the leg holes, not only would that be a simpler way than using elastic, but definitely more comfy and also nicer to look at! Great job.

great idea with waistband around leg holes! I used elastic but it can be too tight and not comfy like this one…this looks perfect!

they are v.comfy with the waistband technique around leg holes – pretty easy to do too.
