Clare received the pattern, fabric and haberdashery for Christmas, it was time to sew it all up :) I was intent on doing the best job possible for this dress, so everything is finished with no shortcuts.
I used several couture techniques when making this dress (catch-stitching, hand-insertion of the zip etc) and she didn’t want buttons but preferred press studs. I did have a few problems with fitting the princess seams and she has very prominent scapulae; she has decided (now it’s finished- grrr!) that the waist is too low on her, these will all be remedied on the next version :)
Burda Young pattern 7232, view A, white polka-dotted 100% cotton, white zipper and large press studs.

This is lovely on her. My daughters the same!! She just hands me something and I have to copy it drop everything I.m doing and make it.for her. Then she gives me a list of things she wants different on it lol x. (not always the easiest thing to do)

This is just lovely on her! Well done. She looks fresh and summery.
Aren’t kids the fussiest though? My daughter won’t let me make her ANYTHING. Although… considering my end results, I don’t know I blame her! LOL
