Description

Godet skirt, based on Burda pattern no 132 in the 6/2013-issue. The fabric was a gift of a friend of mine who went to Mali and actually bought it on a street market. I think, it is some kind of cotton fabric with batik dyeing. I was waiting quite a long time for a fitting pattern for this very fabric and was really thrilled, when I saw the cover of the above issue. The skirt needs with 4.55 meters quite a lot of fabric, so I was very glad, I could just manage with the fabric I received.
