This piece was created for my school’s runway show themed “Walking Contradictions.” The lime green insert created a fun contrast to the black jersey in this pseudo-open-back dress. The garment is made from a pretty stiff jersey, it has a matte finish and does not easily wrinkle. The neckline, armholes, and back cut-out are bound with the same material as the dress. The dress has princess seams, though that may not be super apparent from the pictures. I just love the insert fabric, I literally went to the fabric store and searched for the brightest jersey I could find. I could barely look at the bolt as it was getting cut out because it was so bright!! (it almost glows….)
