Description

My design was inspired by the circus and John Galliano. The skirt is very full, achieved through pleating and the bodice is tight and fitted. The straps are plaited and crossed at the back. The stripes were achieved by first attaching the white under layer and then stitching the stripes on using a wide stitch to prevent fraying.

Material Notes

The entire outfit is made out of Silk Dupion except the lining which was polyester.
