Description

It’s another up-cycle project for my friend’s baby! I merged a onesie pattern and ruffled dress pattern I’ve used previously to come up with the main shirt design. I then used half-circles for the shirt’s sleeves. This could be made longer for a comfy dress, or keep it short for the t-shirt. It was intended for 6 to 12 months, but I know all babies are different. :^)

Material Notes

I, again, used two old t-shirts I had lying around. Have fun with different color fabrics or go with only one. It’s up to you! I’d personally recommend jersey, knits, cotton, blends, or linen for this project.

This is so cute. I’d love to see a pattern for this too, I have a friend with a 6 month old and I’ve been a selfish sewist not making her anything on time… she just grows out of everything before I can give it to her!

Thanks! I’ll work on scanning it in asap! I’m currently on break, so I’ve got lots of time for sewing and such! :^D Would letter size paper work?

I don’t see why not… my work has a fancy whiz-bang printer (sssshh!) so I can make it work. Yay thank you!

Thanks! The Japanese print was just an old t-shirt I had. :^) I’ll work on getting that pattern up (along with some instructions), if you’d like?
