jacket from november issue of burda
made using double faced wool fabric
i should have listen to burda
and use stretch fabric
or at least go for a bigger size of jacket..
but i never listen
so i ended up with a snug jacket
that can only be worn over really thin garments
but i’m totally find with that
it’s a really lovely pattern
fast sewing one too, as there is no lining involved
i love the fit
and i’m crazy about the collar, as it can be worn in many different ways
i skipped the leather, and made sleeves using same fabric as the bodice
and used black cotton bias tape instead of leather strips
see more pics on my blog mokosha
4m black cotton bias tape
55cm metallic zipper
