I just wanted to show you how absolutely beautiful the Cindy pattern turned out. Unfortunately even the 40-42 is too small for me so I had to downsize my doll a bit, but I think I will just enlarge the Back Body parts because the front took quite a while to make and there are just 3 or 4 cms missing, I think. And it still lacks the spaghetti strap (which it definitely needs) and hems.
But still, I love it already. I think you could even make an evening dress out of the pattern. It will still be my swimming suit for my upcoming holiday…
Something like "knitted satin", in German it's called "Satin Strick"

Thanx so much to everyone! I already made another one (one that would fit me rather than my doll, ;-)) but as we are leaving to the Baltic Sea tomorrow, I will just show you when we’re back in a week. @misahpea (and to whom it may interest): It was not very difficult to sew (but not really easy as well). I had some trouble with the bust area and with where and how to add the straps; you will see later. Nevertheless, I can really recommend the pattern, because the result is really hot and cute and it’s nice to finally have a bathing suit that fits perfectly! :-)

Wow, this looks really great so far. I can’t wait to see the final product! I’ve been eyeing this pattern for a while and am wondering how difficult it was for you?

This is so beautiful! It didn’t even hit me until I read “swimming suit” in your description that this was from the Burda Style swimsuit pattern. I just thought it was a gorgeous top! Excellent work.
