Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is my second go at the Mission Maxi pattern and this time I wanted to attempt a side-cinching drawstring! I got the inspiration from a dress I’d seen and just sort of had a go without a est run. A bit of a risk since I only bought just enough of this fabulous tribal jersey. It goes without saying this dress is a dream to wear and the side cinch worked perfectly. I made the drawstrings out of the binding pattern pieces and used the seam allowances at the sides to make the casing for the drawstring to run through.
