I made this dress for an interview I had. The interview had nothing to do with dressmaking but I got the funding so the hard work paid off in the end. Plus I’ve got a new dress!
I had the fabric from an abandoned bedsheet and some matching lace. I really liked all the vintage details in the Kristen dress pattern but as you can see I made a few changes, mainly to the plankets down the front. Finding a matching belt at the back of my wardrobe was an unexpected blessing.
