this is a how- to for chudidar which is kind of an Indian version of leggings. Unlike normal leggings these are ruched at the ankles. The length is kept longer than the actual size and they are fitted at the ankle so they give a ruched effect when worn. The drafting may look scary and complicated but is actually quite easy if you follow the steps. This way you can make them according to your size. Use a stretchy material like jersey or stretch cotton or lycra so that they fit well. If you are using cotton or any other material which is not stretchy ,cut the pattern on bias grain to give your garment a stretch.
