Made with scraps from the evening dress I made for my niece and a wire coathanger. very easy and quick to make. I used 7 × 1.5 inch strips of fabric knotted around the bent into shape hanger.

Yes! It’s such a simple no sew project. I am even going to make one with the ‘help’ of my daughters (age 5 and almost 3).

Ribbon would be perfect to use. I used a quilting rotor cutter and mat to cut my strips which made it extra quick. I think you could tie whatever you liked on to it. My friend is going to make one and tie a few spare baubles on to it for extra ‘bling’.

Yeah, nice….and recycled, so to speak, and quick and easy….my type of project. Recycling is the latest fad with the kids, we made Christmas cards with “recycled” Christmas cards.

You may wish to borrow Mums cutter and mat to make the strip cutting faster, much faster. The kids could definitely help tie the strips on to this. I love using up the scraps.
