Description
Hi, made this from leftover reds and whites, something nice for the table. I appliqued the motifs on with satin stitch . Also discovered that double sided fixer which made the job a lot easier. Why have I only just found this ?! Backed with red gingham. Happy Christmas!

Hi, many thanks…I’ve just realised it’s your cushion design that I liked that gave me the idea for the star. Lovely cushion!

Hi Mary, yes the pom pom maker was on telly, Kirsty Allsops Xmas craft programme…on my Xmas wish list too! And the double sided fixer was on the Great British sewing bee christmas programme. We need more sewing programs on the tell, I think.

This is gorgeous cathy, i love all the detail you put into this. I have never heard of double sided fixer? When i found bias binding makers online and bought one i was over the moon lol. Now someone has told me that they saw a pompom maker? Which cuts the time making them drastically. Anyone who has ever made them knows how long one takes, i will be getting one after xmas. I love your table runner. Stunning work x
