Description

I used a vintage McCall’s 4742 pattern (size 8) for my very petite 6 year-old (who is about a size 4). I altered the pattern quite a bit. I added the bib front, which ended up way larger than I anticipated. And I also added the piping and ruffle which was not part of the original patern.

I suppose I could have gone out and bought a new pattern which actually fits her, but I’m too cheap. Plus it’s kind of cool to use the same pattern my own mother used 35 years ago.
