I really wanted to make a red dress for Christmas and ended up using the Colette Peony pattern for the second time. This time I made 3/4 sleeves to make the dress more practical for European winter time. This project also includes my first clutch bag. I drafted the pattern myself and even though my first clutch didn’t end up being exactly as I pictured in the beginning, I am very happy with the result.
I think the dress will be quite nice also in the summer with a white belt and ballerina shoes.
For the dress I used cotton with a little bit of stretch. The bag is made from the same fabric and I used some fusible fleece between the outside fabric and the lining.
