StyleArc Simply Sally crossover top in woven rayon.
Skirt is Angela Kane’s basic skirt block from her denim pinafore pattern (fits perfectly every time) in some fabric my BIL gave me from Thailand.
Top- Slightly shiny, woven rayon (very sheer), the raw edges were zigzagged on a buttonhole setting rather than overlocked (sheer laziness on my part, couldn’t be bothered threading the overlocker!!!) I do however love this edge finish, especially when it crinkles like that!
Skirt- Some fabric from Thailand which I was advised was NOT silk, I did the flame test and ended up wth a hard ball of plastic :( Underlined in some beautiful soft cotton poplin.

Thanks Jenny for crediting me with the skirt pattern. Only just noticed and it’s much appreciated.
A great outfit for cocktails.

You look terrific. I love how the beads in your necklace pick up the color of the skirt, did you make it especially or was that just a stroke of good luck?

Luck mostly :) I have to admit though, I love green, blue and orange and have semi-precious necklaces in all three colours, so chances are there will be a match!
Oh and thanks :)

Thanks Marjorie, I think it’s a shame though when everything looks better on Sylvia (my dummy) than me!!!!!
