Description

Another iteration of my absolute favourite pencil skirt pattern – Burda 8155. The only changes made were converting the split to a vent, and using a bound button hole instead of fasteners at the waistband.

More details and pictures over at my blog, Seamstress: poppykettle

Material Notes

A royal blue basketweave wool/poly blend by Alexander Wang from EmmaOneSock, lined in black silk habotai and using a gorgeous glass button bought from Etsy.

I love the very blue color, and it fits you perfectly. Gorgeous view by the way… please don’t tell me this is your back yard or something… I’m so jealous :-)

I love your details. And the button too. I really like to see the inside of a garment :) To see how others are doing it and finishing their linings. You have interesting waistband. I have heard and thought doing it too but have bee unsure. I am actually doing a skirt like this on my own :P Hope it turnes out as nice as yours :)
