Description

As the song goes “Christmas in Australia in a scorching summer day…” thus, this is my Christmas frock. A sleevesless, camel-colored, A-line, button-down shirt dress.

Simple and clean.

I used it for the Christmas Eve church service with a red crocheted belt (not in pic).

Material Notes

linen, self-covered buttons, bodice is Burda #7658, skirt part is self-drafted

    Any Burda pattern is ambitious!! I end up having to use the instructions as a general guide and figure it out as I go!

      the bodice is Burda #7658, skirt part I drafted myself after I’ve done the top part.

      quite an ambitious task for a newbie like me. but it’s worth it.

    Nice dress! Sometimes Christmas would be that warm here, but then I would miss the snow.
