Put one cylinder inside the other, right sides together. Sew around one edge. Turn the cylinder so the self is on the outside. One side is still open. Pin the lining and the self together at the seam; this will help you make sure you are sewing them together correctly.
Now, go through the hole in the pocket, and pull the unfinished seam out. Using the pin to help you determine the right way to se the lining and self together, finish the seam, right sides together, all the way around. When finished, push the end back out through the hole in the pocket, and finish the hole, either with hand or machine stitching.
