This is a combination of my favourite styles – Chinese and shweshwe. The gold line across the bust is extremely slimming, while the lack of darts in the front gives the option of having a big tummy day. The blouse is fastened with a zip at the side and a hidden Goofy button at the neck; it would have been Eyeore if I had found one of his buttons.
This style of shirt is formal enough to wear to the office, but individual enough to wear to the beach or a lunch. It goes perfectly with a good pair of jeans, slipslops or heels; you could also pair it with a cardigan for those colder months ahead up north.
This blouse is for sale, find me on facebook under Jane the Clerk (under construction atm, apologies).
cotton, shweshwe, frogs, bias binding
