So, my sister went to China, I asked her to bring me back some silk, and here it is!
This was my first experience of sewing with silk, it wasn’t quite as difficult as I was expecting. I used a very thin needle and tried not to hold my breath the whole time! It’s also a pretty simple pattern, which helped a lot.
I used french seams, and a very flat zig-zag stich as that’s supposed to be more secure. It’s also my first rolled hem.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
