This is the 2nd top I have made from Burda #138- 8/2011. The 1st was in cotton and a trial before I cut into the China blue and white silk. This fabric was a total extravaganz and I had to be sure that I was totally happy with version1 before I cut into this gorgeous silk. All seams are French seamed. I interfaced the yoke with a plain off white silk organza to keep it light and give it some body. It weighs nothing, so it feels like wearing a cloud.
Silk by Juulio and bought at Alla Moda fabric boutique in Brisbane.
