I made this hoody by using the basic child’s shirt. Everything is doubled and hopefully there are no exposed seams anywhere on it. For the front I made it a little wider and didn’t cut on the fold. The zip was pretty easy to do and all I had to do was remember which bit of material went with which bit and what not to sew just yet.
The hood was simple, though a little large so I just folded it back in on itself.
Next time I will have to make it a little longer, possibly put elastic in the waist and wrists.
