Raincoat made out of flannel and an outer layer of plastic. Edited out the sleeve fold and used buttons in replace of the snaps. Used a seam sealer to create a waterproof bond.

You can get the seam sealer at sporting good stores. The plastic was difficult to sew especially if the plastic was on the outside touching the metal on both sides. I finally decided to put a layer of paper between the sewing machine and the plastic to make it easier and it helped enormously.
